Scope of Work:

SGC was engaged to carry out a comprehensive façade glass inspection and rectification assessment for the above-mentioned project. The objective was to identify surface damage and contamination on the installed glass panels and recommend suitable cleaning and restoration methodologies.

Project Overview:

The project involved façade glass installed by Invero Façade Fabricators for a residential/commercial development in Pune. During post-construction evaluation, multiple glass surfaces were found to be contaminated with cement splashes, hard water stains, and construction residue, significantly affecting the optical clarity and surface finish of the glazing.

Rectification Work Executed:

SGC deployed a specialized cleaning and restoration process, which included:

Application of proprietary chemical formulations for the removal of cementitious deposits and hard water scaling.

Controlled surface treatment using approved cleaning agents and mechanical cleaning systems to ensure no surface abrasion or coating damage.

Final inspection and surface finish verification to restore the original optical quality and transparency of the façade glass.

Project Scale:

Total façade area treated: approximately 200,000 sq. ft. (across 4 towers of 14 floors each)
Total cleaning chemicals used: 300 kg

All works executed under controlled conditions ensuring compliance with safety and façade maintenance protocols.

Outcome:

Post-treatment inspection confirmed complete removal of cement and mineral deposits, with glass clarity and coating integrity restored to original specifications.
